Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, is a great city by its own rights. If you are just arrived on a cruise ship and your time here is limited, then it would be the best to have a guide that knows the city well enough to show you all the must-see places, and tell you interesting stories behind them. There is so much to see, so much to know, so much to love.

Take a stroll down the street yourselves to experience the turbulent and chaotic things the locals proclaim to be “just mere traffic”, try out some of the best street food you have ever had in life, as recommended by world famous chefs and enjoy the hospitality of the residents. All of these aspects will surely satisfy your need of learning.

This city tour is specifically for clients who go on a cruiser that docks on Phu My port, which is one and a half hour away from the city, and dislike bus tours offered by the cruiser. I will pick you up at the port myself. My tour is a private tour, so in short, you will have the perk of having a private tour with the same amount for a common cruiser’s bus tour. Best for group of 4-6, though.

I will pick you up at Phu My port gate early in the morning, but the time to start the city tour is entirely up to you.

We will spend a day in the city to visit some of the most prominent tourist attractions: The Reunification Palace-formerly known as the White House of the Republic of Vietnam; Notre Dame Cathedral and the neighboring Central Post Office in the old French Quartet

We then walk down the street to marvel at the architecture of the now-functioning City Hall and the Opera House and last but not least, I will show you the place in the famous war picture where the last helicopter in Saigon took off.

An unusual destination is also offered, I will take you to either a local market where housewives buy the ingredients for their everyday meals or a workshop which makes lacquer ware products, if you fancy exploring more about Vietnamese art of handicraft.

We will have lunch at a nice local restaurant.

If we still got a lot of time afterwards, I will show you around the area of Dong Khoi Street, have a drink at the sky bar on the rooftop of the Rex Hotel or Hotel Caravelle before we wrap up the city tour and say goodbye at your port.
